HR Manager

Summary of Position:

The HR Manager is responsible for all HR activities and procedures for the office. This includes planning, coordinating payroll processing and developing procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records. The HR Manager needs to have comprehensive understanding of local employment laws and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and enforce HR initiatives and procedures in alignment with the directives of Headquarters

·Maintain and enhance the company’s human resources by implementing, human resources policies, programs, and practices

·Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource local, regional, provincial and federal requirements

·Co-ordinate with Payroll Processing consultant to manage employee compensation plan and benefits program as per company policy

·Report to management and liaise with Global HQ HR and provide decision support through HR metrics

·Implement procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records

·Maintain HR files and databases and ensure employee documentation is kept up to date

·Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job posts, interviewing candidates and conducting background checks

·Conduct new employee orientations and communicate company policies and procedures 

·Support the company’s current and future business needs through the development, engagement and retention of personnel 

·Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

·Liaise between the company and external legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies are compliant with current laws and regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in human resources or a related field
  • Over 5 years’ experience in a human resources management role
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in Russian, Uzbek and English
  • Comprehensive understanding of local employment laws
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
